This hotel review is going to be different because I did not stay at the hotel. However, I have decided to write a review anyway because of the way I was treated as a non-hotel guest by their team and especially Christine, their Chief Concierge. Also, the hotel is beautiful so I can’t resist sharing the photos.
My first stay at a Viceroy hotel was at the newly renovated Hotel Emblem in San Francisco earlier this year. The room was beautiful, despite the small window, and the staff there made me feel like a friend. Therefore, when I saw Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills on Google Map on our way to Rodeo Drive, I had to go in for a visit.

Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is an all-suites hotel with two spacious categories: the Studio Suites range from 650 to 725 sq. ft. and the Residential Suites range from 1,200 to 4,400 sq. ft. The hotel is pet-friendly and offers nightly turndown service.
Dining Options
In addition to 24-hour room service, there is a stunning French restaurant called Avec Nous on the main floor. The restaurant is sectioned so guests can enjoy enhanced privacy in the formal dining area. If you are celebrating a special occasion, there is a wine room perfect for a romantic dinner for two.
Amenities
Like many hotels in Los Angeles, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills fully utilizes their rooftop by having an outdoor pool with loungers, a lounge area, and a venue space. You get to enjoy an amazing view of Los Angeles. .
On the same floor, there is also a spa and a fitness area.

Location
Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is located in Beverly Hills, only minutes away from the world-famous Rodeo Drive. However, unlike the other 5-star hotels in the area (e.g., Montage Beverly Hills or Beverly Wilshire), it offers a quieter and more secluded location with it located on Burton Way.
Its proximity to the Golden Triangle, the luxury shopping district, means everything you need is close by as well.
Service
As mentioned in the introduction, I did not stay at the hotel but rather went in for a quick visit. I was taking pictures when Christine approached and offered a tour of the hotel and even offered the house car to bring us to Rodeo Drive.
Every staff I encountered was friendly and welcoming. I can only imagine the level of care the team provides to their hotel guests.
