We moved to our new place last Summer. We were furnishing the condo very slowly because I don’t particularly enjoy furniture shopping and we were also going to do a lot of travel this year ($$$). However, as we all know, the pandemic happened.
Since we cancelled all US and overseas trips, our budget has been freed up quite a bit. Other than the Kamloops trip we went on before everything shut down, we only have a weekend trip to Whistler planned for now.
All the extra time we are spending at home “forced” us to furnish it a little more. We ended up buying a few items for each room and they all came together nicely.

What Are We Buying Next?
I ordered the Mill Mini Console table from CB2 earlier this week and it should be arriving next week. After that, we will go shop for a mirror to hang on top of the console table and a few decorative pieces. The furniture shopping has made me realize how impossible it is to achieve that “hotel minimal vibe” unless I have zero clutter and hide everything in drawers.
We have already decided on the Marble Golden Ivory Rug from Ruggable for our living room so we will put it into our budget in the coming months. I first heard about this machine washable rug company on Instagram and have been excited to try it.
