Eric’s new toy – Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Wireless Earbuds

Eric and I took 2 days off from work so we had an extra-long weekend. This would have been the week we were going to Texas (Austin & San Antonio) for the first time if the pandemic didn’t happen. I considered going to Sooke for the weekend but then decided to stay home at the end. If you are planning a weekend getaway to Vancouver Island, check out my post here.

I got a lot of blogs-related work done this weekend and Eric mostly spent time on his new project which he won’t let me share for now. There are a few things I started and one of them is a Pinterest board for me to share my outfits. I regularly took selfies in the work bathroom before we started working from home and the pictures are finally being shared with people other than Eric, my sister & one of my friends. I miss going into the office sometimes because wearing PJ 7 days a week does get boring.

I was also proud of myself for getting some new dresses on sale (99% of the time I left things in the shopping cart unless I am buying shoes) from Aritzia but that also means I went over budget already. Two out of the three dresses had to be ordered in so I am not sure if they will arrive before my trip to Whistler.

I ended up doing a lot more online window shopping this weekend and found lots of solid good deals at the brands I love – Ted Baker, Banana Republic & Browns Shoes. Looks like the pandemic has really affected the retail industry.

Since our local libraries opened up for book return and hold pick up service, I placed a hold on 10 books including 5 Hercule Poirot books by Agatha Christie (my favourite detective series). Some of them have to be transferred from other branches so it will take a while. Anyway, I am so excited to read more Hercule Poirot!

What Would I Do Different Next Week?

We were supposed to inspect out condo this weekend as our deadline to report deficiencies is coming up (1 year from completion date) but didn’t find the drive to. We will have to do it this week.

I will also resume studying every morning and have the schedule all planned out already. It’s extremely flexible because my exam isn’t until December. I do plan on getting started with the next module early though so the timing will all work out at the end.
